Idiom “喜怒哀乐 xǐ nù āi lè – the gamut of human feeling” comes from the Book of Rites and it is refered to 高兴 gāoxìng – happy, 愤怒 fènnù – angry, 悲哀 bēi’āi – sad and 快乐 kuài lè – happy these four feelings. This is generally refered to a variety of different feelings, people in different environments, encountered different things, the mood is not the same, and emotions are comprehensive, we often use this idiom to describe all feelings.
