Have a “Small talk” is obviously a great way to begin a conversation and “weather” is a good topic to start with.
Dialogue –
A: Jīn tiān de tiān qì zěn me yàng?
今天的天气怎么样？
How is the weather today?
B: Bú cuò. Jīn tiān shì qíng tiān, bú tài rè.
不错。今天是晴天，不太热。
Very good. It is a sunny day and not so hot.
